On July 10, China successfully launched the Long March 10B carrier rocket at the Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Center in Wenchang. The rocket successfully placed a satellite into its planned orbit, while its first stage was successfully recovered, marking a complete mission success.
The mission marked China's first successful controlled recovery of a carrier rocket's first stage and the world's first successful sea-based net capture of an orbital-class rocket, representing a major breakthrough in China’s reusable rocket technology.
