6月25日，武汉谭鑫培公园6000余平方米荷塘荷叶层层叠叠，满池荷花娇艳绽放（上图），给夏日带来清新质感，吸引不少市民前来赏荷拍照。据园林部门消息，武汉荷花种植面积在100平方米以上的公园有56座，累计赏荷面积达77万平方米。保持全国第一。目前，武汉各地荷花已进入最佳观赏期，正在举办的武汉荷花节主会场沙湖公园展出的荷花品种最为丰富。
On June 25, at Wuhan’s Tanxinpei Park, sprawling layers of lotus leaves blanketed a bloom-covered lotus pond spanning over 6,000 square meters (top photo). Offering a refreshing oasis on a summer day, the vibrant display attracted throngs of visitors eager to capture the blossoms.
According to local landscaping authorities, 56 parks in Wuhan boast a lotus planting area exceeding 100 square meters each. The city’s cumulative lotus-viewing area has reached 770,000 square meters, retaining its top position nationwide. Currently, lotus flowers across Wuhan have entered their prime viewing season. Shahu Park (left photo), the main venue for the ongoing Wuhan Lotus Festival, features the most diverse array of lotus varieties on display.
