On the morning of July 7, after an all-night rescue work, exhausted firemen crashed on the ground outside Huanggang Normal University for a quick nap. They were from the neighboring city of Ezhou, and came here to help Huanggang citizens suffering from destructions of a sudden tornado. At the night of July 6, an EF2 tornado with maximum wind speed exceeding Level 15 hit Huanggang, Hubei heavily, and left a part of the city in ruins.
