近日，82岁湖北大爷余龙才再次背包出发，前往土耳其及巴尔干地区，开启了他新一轮7国游历行程。5月25日，余龙才告诉极目新闻记者，他已在土耳其伊斯坦布尔游玩多日，游览了当地的清真寺，体验了滑翔伞、热气球等高空项目，充分感受了土耳其的历史和文化。
Recently, 82-year-old Yu Longcai from Hubei Province once again set off with his backpack, heading to Turkey and the Balkan region to kickstart his new voyage across seven countries. On May 25, Yu told Jimu News that he had already spent several days in Istanbul, visiting local mosques and experiencing paragliding and hot-air balloon rides while immersing himself in Turkey’s rich history and culture.

玩滑翔伞的地点在土耳其安塔利亚，当地时间5月24日的早晨6时30分，升空的同时，余龙才也看到了地中海岸绝美的日出。“非常棒！云在脚下流，风在耳边吹，我在天空飞——”教练控制的滑翔伞上，余龙才扬起双手跟摄像头打招呼，非常激动地大声叫喊着，还唱着歌。在他背后，是美丽的深蓝色地中海和海岸边的山林。
The paragliding experience took place in Antalya, Turkey. At 6:30 a.m. local time on May 24, Yu witnessed a breathtaking sunrise over the Mediterranean coast as he ascended into the air. “It was fantastic! Clouds drifted beneath my feet, the wind rushed past my ears, and there I was soaring through the sky.” During the flight, Yu waved enthusiastically at the camera, shouted with excitement, and even broke into song. Behind him stretched the deep-blue Mediterranean Sea and the forested mountains along the coast.
滑翔伞之旅其实还发生了一点小插曲。滑翔伞刚起步两三秒钟，余龙才和教练腾空了好几米，突然发生下落，余龙才摔到了地上，爬起后，发现身上有几处擦伤。“我没有退缩，不想放弃这次难得的机会。”第二次起飞，他和教练成功升空。经过20分钟的滑翔，落地的那一瞬间，不少教练和游客给他拍摄视频，庆祝他成功完成飞行。
There was a minor setback during the adventure. Just a few seconds after takeoff, Yu and his instructor suddenly dropped from several meters above the ground. After getting up, Yu found several scrapes on his body. “I didn’t back down. I didn’t want to miss this rare opportunity.” On the second attempt, they successfully took off and glided for 20 minutes. Upon landing, many instructors and tourists filmed the moment and congratulated him on completing the flight successfully.
余龙才告诉极目新闻记者，他5月13日从国内出发，14日抵达土耳其。
Yu told a Jimu News reporter that he left China on May 13 and arrived in Turkey on May 14.
在土耳其海峡，余龙才乘车从欧亚大桥上经过，在海峡上空找到一侧是欧洲另一侧是亚洲的感觉。在格雷梅小镇，余龙才晚上住洞穴酒店，还体验了当地著名的热气球项目。“100多个热气球依次飞向空中，非常震撼。”余龙才在热气球上看到地面的喀斯特地貌，觉得太美了，于是跟家人朋友视频通话，将美景分享给大家。
While crossing the Bosphorus Strait, Yu experienced the unique feeling of having Europe on one side and Asia on the other. In Göreme, he stayed in a cave hotel and took part in the region’s famous hot-air balloon experience. “More than 100 hot-air balloons rose into the sky one after another. It was absolutely breathtaking.” From above, he admired the unique rock formations of Cappadocia and shared the spectacular views with family and friends through video calls.
在地中海游船上，当地人看到这位八旬中国老人独自背包登船旅行，感觉不可思议。他们热情地邀请余龙才一起在音乐中起舞，余龙才通过翻译软件跟他们聊得火热。
On a Mediterranean cruise, local people were astonished to see the octogenarian Chinese traveler exploring the world alone with a backpack. They warmly invited him to dance to the music, and Yu chatted happily with them using a translation app.
北京时间5月26日，余龙才前往格鲁吉亚，后面还将去往阿尔巴尼亚、波黑、黑山、马其顿等巴尔干半岛游历旅行，并计划于6月23日返回。
On May 26 (Beijing time), Yu headed to Georgia. He will continue his travels through Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and other Balkan countries before returning to China on June 23.
据极目新闻此前报道，余龙才是湖北安陆一名退休教师。自72岁起，他开始独自背包到国外旅行。从2015年至今，他此前已相继解锁大洋洲、东南亚、欧洲、非洲等地，足迹遍布10多个国家，是一名经验丰富的背包客。今年年初，身背一个双肩大背包、胸挎单肩包的他在肯尼亚转机时，被一名华人博主拍下视频，发布在网络后引发不少人关注。
As previously reported by Jimu News, Yu is a retired teacher from Anlu, Hubei Province. At the age of 72, he began solo traveling overseas as a backpacker. Since 2015, he has visited more than 10 countries across Oceania, Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa, making him a seasoned traveler. Earlier this year, a Chinese vlogger filmed him during a layover in Kenya. The video attracted widespread attention online after it was posted.
多年的旅行经历，让余龙才感受到了各国人民的友好，他也学会了用手机订酒店，使用Uber打车。此前，他在非洲一个月的旅行，花掉了将近一年的退休金。每次旅行，他会带着书，在闲暇时阅读；他还会坚持带一个笔记本电脑，每天打字敲下日记。
Years of travel have allowed Yu to experience the friendliness of people around the world. He has also learned how to book hotels and use Uber on his smartphone. One month of travel in Africa once cost him nearly an entire year’s pension. On every trip, he carries books to read in his spare time and brings a laptop to journal every day.
5月21日，余龙才在他的日记《过瘾》里写道：“我刚刚下榻（土耳其）安塔利亚，拿放大镜查过地图后，目光穿越地中海，恰好触及到了（埃及）亚历山大，两座城市都在东经30度线上……去年11月我在南岸，隔了半年我又到了北岸……我现在向过去大声呼喊‘余龙才你好’，竟还能听到清晰的回音……当地中海看清了面容，立即波涛滚滚鼓掌欢呼！”
In an entry dated May 21 titled “Pure Enjoyment,” Yu wrote: “I have just checked into a hotel in Antalya, Turkey. After studying the map with a magnifying glass, my gaze stretches across the Mediterranean Sea and lands right on Alexandria, Egypt. Both cities lie on the 30th meridian east. Last November, I stood on the southern shore of the Mediterranean. Half a year later, I have reached the northern shore. As I call out loudly to my past self, ‘Hello, Yu Longcai,’ I can still hear a clear echo in return. As the Mediterranean comes fully into view, its rolling waves seem to burst into thunderous applause.”
