A flock of red-crested pochards and Eurasiancoots, both nationally protected wildlife species in China, have recently been spotted in the Qingxi River in Baokang County, Hubei Province. In recent years, Baokang County has adhered to the principle of prioritizing ecological conservation and pursuing green development, vigorously promoting ecological protection and restoration projects.
