7月8日，极目新闻记者从武汉市江汉区北湖小学获悉，该校六年级（5）班学生柯栖源，在近日举行的中国百城桨板公开赛（贵州铜仁）中，夺得U12女子组全国冠军。这一喜讯传来，该班师生都为之沸腾。
On July 8, Jimu News reporters learned from Beihu Primary School in Wuhan’s Jianghan District that Ke Xiyuan, a sixth-grader from Class 5, recently clinched the national title in the U12 Girls’ Division at the 2025 China Hundred-City Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Open (Tongren, Guizhou). The win sparked jubilation among her classmates and teachers.

据介绍，此次2025中国百城桨板公开赛（贵州铜仁）是由国家体育总局和贵州省人民政府共同举办的全国性赛事。桨板运动作为奥运冲浪项目的子类，如今已在全球范围内逐渐风靡。
The 2025 China Hundred-City Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Open (Tongren, Guizhou) is a nationwide event co-organized by the General Administration of Sport of China and the Guizhou Provincial Government. Paddleboarding, a subcategory of Olympic surfing, has gained increasing traction globally.
柯栖源与桨板运动的缘分始于2024年7月。当时，她在汉阳区一游泳协会的指导下，开始了自己的桨板学习之旅。此后，她每周都坚持巡检，还积极参加省内市内的各类比赛，在武汉市青运会和省公开赛中都斩获第一名。
Ke Xiyuan’s introduction to Stand Up Paddling goes back to July 2024, when she first picked up a paddle under the guidance of a swimming association in Hanyang District. Since then, she has maintained a weekly training routine and competed in provincial and municipal tournaments, securing gold medals at both the Wuhan Youth Games and the Hubei SUP Open.

柯栖源的父亲回忆道：“一开始她只是尝试着玩玩，没想到在去年7月中旬那届青运会上就拿了第一名。大家都说她很有天赋，随着成绩越来越多，她也就慢慢喜欢上这个项目了。”
Ke Xiyuan’s father recalled, “Initially, she just wanted to try it out for fun, but she unexpectedly won first place at the Youth Games last July. Everyone said she had a talent, and as she continued to achieve success, she gradually developed a love for the sport.”
柯栖源对水上运动有着天然的热爱和天赋。她8岁开始学习游泳，良好的水性让她从不恐惧水，反而充满了好奇和尝试的欲望，学得也比别人快。水上运动如龙舟、皮艇、赛艇等，她都乐意尝试，而桨板以个人为主的特点，恰好符合她的选择条件，也满足了她锻炼身体的愿望。
Ke Xiyuan possesses an innate passion and talent for water sports. She began swimming at the age of eight, and her strong affinity for water made her fearless and eager to explore, allowing her to master skills quicker than her peers. She enjoys trying various water sports, including dragon boat racing, kayaking, and rowing. Stand-up paddleboarding, with its emphasis on individual performance, aligns with her preferences and fitness goals.
在学业上，柯栖源始终保持着高度的热情和专注，成绩十分优异。学习之余，她对桨板运动热爱有加。一年多来，无论烈日炎炎还是寒风凛冽，她都雷打不动地坚持训练。寒暑假时，她一周会训练4 - 5次，平时周末也不放松。除了在水上训练，居家时她也会进行核心训练，跳绳、跑步、锻炼肩部平衡力，还会做仰卧起坐、平板支撑，每天坚持一个小时。柯栖源的爸爸还透露，孩子特别有自我提升的意识。她主动发现自己在绕标折返技术上和外地选手差距很大，于是每次训练完后都会主动加练20个标。
As for her studies, Ke Xiyuan maintains a high level of enthusiasm and focus, achieving excellent grades. In her spare time, she is passionate about paddleboarding. Over the past year, she has adhered to a rigorous training schedule, practicing 4 to 5 times a week during holidays and consistently training on weekends, regardless of extreme weather. Besides training in water, she also does core exercises at home. This includes jump rope, running, shoulder training, sit-ups, and planks—she persists with these for an hour daily. Ke Xiyuan’s father added that she has a particularly strong drive for self-improvement. She noticed a significant gap in her buoy turning skill compared to out-of-town competitors. Thus, after every training session, she willingly practices an extra 20 buoy turns.
柯栖源说：“通过参加面对面的比赛，我学会了面对失败，抗压能力也提升了不少。特别是在耐力赛中，有时候动作都变形了，但意志会带着我突围。这种坚持的精神也让我在学习中受益，遇到难题时，我会努力去钻研，直到找到真正的答案。”
Ke Xiyuan said, “Face-to-face competitions have taught me how to face failure and significantly boosted my resilience. Especially in endurance races, there are times when I lose my rhythm on the paddle, but sheer willpower pushes me through. This mindset has also benefited my studies— when I encounter difficult problems, I delve into them until I find the real answers.”
此外，在2024年湖北省武汉市举办的多项桨板赛事中，柯栖源同学凭借精湛的技术和顽强的毅力，多次站上领奖台。当被问到获奖感受时，柯栖源腼腆地笑着说：“很开心能拿到好成绩，这离不开教练的指导和自己的努力。我会继续加油，争取在更大的舞台上绽放。”
Furthermore, at several paddleboarding competitions held in Wuhan, Hubei Province in 2024, Ke Xiyuan stood on the podium multiple times by virtue of her exceptional skills and tenacious perseverance. When asked about her feelings on winning, she said with a shy smile, “I’m very happy to have achieved good results; this wouldn’t have been possible without my coach’s guidance and my own hard work. I will keep pushing forward and strive to shine on even bigger stages.”
