全国首个空铁货物联运工程在鄂州动工，3年后更多国外海鲜直抵市民餐桌

6月20日，花湖国际机场铁路联络线建设现场挖机轰鸣。这个由湖北铁路集团投资建设的项目，已进入多点开花的全面动工阶段。
在鄂州市沙窝乡黄山村，6台挖机轮番在小山包上挖掘，一条施工便道已现雏形，这里离鄂州花湖国际机场仅1公里。一旁的中铁十二局项目技术人员穆顺利介绍，机场货运站正在建设9条联络线，其中预留6条铁路线，包括高铁物流工程。
On June 20th, excavators rumbled at the construction site of the Huahu International Airport Railway Corridor. The project, funded and constructed by Hubei Railway Group, is now in full swing with work progressing simultaneously at multiple locations.
In Huangshan Village, Shawo Town, Ezhou City, six excavators are working in tandem to level a mound as an access road begins to take shape. The site is merely one kilometer from Ezhou Huahu International Airport. Mu Shunli, a staff member from China Railway 12th Bureau Group working on the project, explains that nine rail links are under construction at the airport’s cargo terminal—six of which are earmarked for future railway lines, including high-speed railway.
总投资22.69亿元的花湖国际机场铁路联络线全长22.022公里，西端在鄂州站接轨经武九铁路衔接国铁路网，东端在花湖国际机场停机坪南侧设货运站实现空铁联运，是湖北构建铁水公空多式联运体系的关键工程，也是全国首个空铁货物联运工程。项目建成后，以花湖机场为圆心，半径在250至450公里之间的货运转运，选择铁路将运能更大、成本更少，也更加绿色环保。
With a total investment of 2.269 billion yuan, the 22.022-km Huahu International Airport Railway Corridor feeds into the national railway network at its western end via the Wuhan-Jiujiang Railway at Ezhou Railway Station. At its eastern end, a cargo terminal south of the airport apron will serve as an interchange node between air and rail. This project is pivotal to Hubei’s development of a multi-modal transportation system that integrates rail, waterway, road, and air transport—— marking China's first air-rail freight corridor. Upon completion, freight transfers opting for rail within a 250-450 km radius of Huahu Airport will enjoy greater capacity, lower costs, while prioritizing sustainability .
据悉，该项目计划2028年建成，初期将开行至省内宜昌、襄阳等多个城市的快运班列，未来增加开行至省外合肥、南昌、长沙等城市的快运班列。“届时，孟加拉国的螃蟹等更多国外海鲜一下飞机，就可从花湖机场转乘货运列车直达襄阳、宜昌等地市民的餐桌。”花湖国际机场铁路建设指挥部负责人说。
The project is slated for completion in 2028. The earliest launch will be express freight trains to multiple cities within Hubei Province, including Yichang and Xiangyang. Future expansions will extend the network to interprovincial destinations such as Hefei, Nanchang, and Changsha. "Once operational, imported seafood like crabs from Bangladesh will transfer directly at Huahu Airport to freight trains bound for dining tables in Xiangyang, Yichang, and beyond," stated the head of Huahu International Airport's Railway Construction Command.
