夜幕降临，老街市井的“烟火气”渐渐升腾。观皮影戏、栖茶舍、品美食……系列民俗展演活动带来的视觉、听觉和触觉的沉浸式体验，仿佛让时光倒流，把游客带进明清时期的繁茂商贸古街。3月29日，监利程集老街焕新出发，系列精彩民俗展演活动拉开了2024年监利市春季文化旅游季的大幕。
As night falls, the hustle and bustle in oneancient street gradually comes alive. Numerousfolk activities, from watching shadow puppetry, to sipping tea in tea houses, and enjoying local delicacies,provide an immersive experience tovisitors, by engaging their visual, audio and tactile senses. Visitors are teleported back to the lively ancient commercial streets of the Ming and Qing dynasties. On March 29th, Chengji Ancient Street of Jianli welcomed visitors with a revamped newlook, as a series of exciting folk performances kicked off the 2024 Spring Cultural TourismSeason of Jianli City.
程集古镇位于监利市西侧，与江陵县、石首市交界，素有“一声鸡鸣闻三县”之称。坐落在古镇的程集老街，则是一条以明清古建筑为主的传统老街，长约1公里。
Chengji Ancient Town is located on the western edgeof Jianli City, bordering Jiangling County and Shishou City. It’s convenient location situates it a mere stone throw away from its surrounding counties. Located within this ancient town is Chengji ancient street a traditional street,stretching about 1 kilometer, that primarily featuresbuildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
站在程集古镇的老长河岸边，“程集古镇”的门楼招牌格外耀眼。斗拱式实木建筑，透露着历史的韵味。透过门楼，放眼望去，古老的青石板路面，已经被磨得光亮。沿着老街漫 步，一步一景，“烟火气”无处不在。黛色青瓦、青色古石板、白色马头墙、古朴木梁、千年老长河，这是呈现在极目新闻记者眼前的景象。
The gateway sign “Chengji Ancient Town” is hard to miss when one standsbeside the river bank. Most buildings decorated with “Dougong” are made of solid wood, revealing theirhistorical charm. When passing through the gateway, one can see the rundown green slate road that is now glossy from its countless years of use. Strolling through this ancient street, characterized by a lively and bustling atmosphere, every sight captures your attention. Dark-grey tiles, ancient green slates, white “Matau” walls, ancient-stylewooden beams, a millennium-old ancient riveris the sceneset before Jimu news reporters.
程集古镇的民间文史爱好者王克文介绍，眼前的明清古建筑现保存完好的有几百栋，房屋均为前后多进的砖木结构，前面临街的为商业铺面，中进为客房或作坊，后进则为住房、 货栈或晒场。
According to Wang Kewen, a folk literature and history enthusiast in Chengji Ancient Town, hundreds of ancient buildings fromMing and Qing Dynasty are well preservedwithin the city.They are entirely made of brick and wood and have different functionalareas. Usually, the front sectionof the building is a commercial store, the middle is a guest house or a workshop, and the back is a living room, a storehouse, or a drying ground.
“每进之间还有天井或厢房，均用木格扇板相隔，门窗一律镂格，登楼推窗，街景尽收眼底。”王克文说，程集古镇的建筑风格古朴典雅而独具江南水乡特色。
“There are courtyards or wing rooms between each area, which are separated by wooden panels. The windows and doors are all latticed, so you can fully enjoy the street view when you ascendthe stairs and gaze from an open window.” Wang Kewenadded, thearchitectural style of Chengji Ancient Town is simple and quaint but hascharacteristics unique toJiangnan Watertown.
“武侠小说之父”金庸在其《连城诀》里曾多次提到过“程家集”，也是源于此。还有多部影视作品，也是在程集古镇取景。
Jin Yong, “the father of martial arts novels”, made numerous references to“Chengjiaji”in his novel A Deadly Secret, whoseoriginated fromthis very town. Many films and television works were shotin Chengji Ancient Town.
沿着老街一路前行，极目新闻记者先后看到了程集粮酒传统生产线、农耕博物馆、药铺、豆腐坊、成衣坊、糕点铺子、剃头铺子等场景。结合实景，还呈现了幽默诙谐的话剧表演，其中传统“非遗”节目啰啰咚、皮影戏、烟花灯笼等演出，游客既能边走边看，还能品尝程集粮酒和监利传统小吃，达到全感官的深度沉浸式体验。特别值得一提的是，在清明假期，演出活动每天还将上演3场。
Alongside the ancient street, the Jimu News reporter spotted a traditional production lineforChengjigrainliquor, an agricultural museum, drugstore, tofu workshop, clothing store, bakery, barbershop among others.Comedy dramaswere available alongside traditionalintangible cultural heritageperformances such as Luoluodong(a type of traditional music), shadow puppetry, fireworks and lanterns. Fortourists strolling down this street, the feast does not end with the performances, as sampling some local specialties such as the Chengji grainliquorandother traditional Jianli snackscompletes this immersive sensory experience.In addition, it is worth mentioning that theperformances will be scheduled three times a dayduring the Tomb-Sweeping Day holiday.
结合程集古镇的厚重历史，监利市文旅部门今年特别策划了“程集古镇七彩烂漫游”春季文旅季活动。
Drawing on the rich history of Chengji Ancient Town,this year,the cultural and tourism department of Jianli City launched thespring cultural tourismactivity — “VibrantRomantic trip inChengji Ancient Town”.
极目新闻记者在程集古镇的新兴垸村看到，今年，当地打造了七彩油菜花田、七彩柏油马路、七彩乡村民居等乡村旅游景点，游客除了能沉浸式品味古街韵味，还能放松心境，畅享七彩浪漫游，感受别样的古镇风味。
In XinxingyuanVillage, specialtourist attractions were set-upby the local departments this yearincludingrapeseed fieldsin brilliant shades of yellow, fully tarred asphalt roads, and localhouses. In addition to enjoying the unique flavors of this ancient street, tourists can further indulge in theleisurely and romantic comforts of their tour, embracing the distinct allureof this ancient town.
