As spring tiptoes in, so does Wuhan’s cherry blossom season.
极目新闻记者了解到，2024年东湖樱花园再次升级，园内打造了立体观樱赏花空中栈道，登上栈道可以获得多层次、多维度的立体赏樱体验。同时，东湖樱花园开园当天将同步开启夜赏樱花模式，白天游园赏樱观戏剧，夜晚9000多组灯组勾画出古建筑群的灵动轮廓，将赏樱氛围烘托到极致。
The East Lake Cherry Blossom Park underwent further enhancements in 2024, incorporating a new aerial walkway within the park. This elevated pathway offers visitors a new experience, allowing them to view the cherry blossoms from various vantage points. On the opening day of the East Lake Cherry Blossom Park, nighttime cherry blossom viewing will also be available to visitors. During the day, cherry blossom enthusiasts can stroll through the park and enjoy theatrical performances. As night falls, over 9,000 sets of lights outline the dynamic silhouette of the ancient buildings, creating an enchanting ambiance.

除了满园樱花，在东湖樱花园内还能同时观赏到3000平方米的精品郁金香以及10余亩彩色油菜花。
Besides the cherry blossoms, visitors can also enjoy 3,000 square meters of exquisite tulips and more than 6,600 square meters of colorful rapeseed flowers in the park.
与此同时，今年东湖樱花节还将推出多种全新玩法，为海内外游客带来沉浸式的赏樱体验。
At the same time, the East Lake Cherry Blossom Festival this year will also introduce various new activities, bringing an immersive experience for local and international tourists viewing the cherry blossoms.
今年樱花季，前往东湖赏樱推荐绿色出行。据悉，东湖推出了三大赏樱专线，包括东湖绿道陆路赏樱专线、骑行自由赏樱专线和东湖游船水路赏樱专线，方便游客错峰出游。樱花节期间，东湖游船和东湖绿道观光车都适当延长运营时间及增加班次。
For this year's cherry blossom season, environmentally friendly transportation is recommended when visiting the East Lake. Three specially designed routes have been launched, including the East Lake Greenway route, the cycling route, and the East Lake cruise route, in hopes to divert traffic and facilitate travel even during peak hours. During the Cherry Blossom Festival, both the East Lake cruise ship and the Greenway sightseeing buses will see extended operating hours and run more frequently.
东湖绿道陆路赏樱专线，游客可从楚风园、白马洲头、落霞归雁、一棵树四大东湖绿道门户站点乘坐全新的樱花主题观光车，直达樱花园临近站点“全景广场站”。同时开通夜游线，楚风园站至全景广场站，日夜均可出行赏樱；骑行自由赏樱专线，游客可随心选择租赁小鹿悠游电单车及小红羚骑行，两种共享单车任意选择，赏樱节奏自行把握，来一场说走就走的赏樱之旅；东湖游船水路赏樱专线，游客可从楚风园码头、落霞水榭码头、行吟阁码头登船，直达临近樱花园的梅园码头。
The East Lake Greenway Cherry Blossom Viewing Route avails visitors a brand-new cherry blossom-themed sightseeing bus departing from four major entrance points of the East Lake Greenway: Chufengyuan (Chu Dynasty Park), Baimazhoutou (Island of the White Horse), Luoxiaguiyan (Sunset Glow and the Homebound Geese), and Yikeshu (One Unique Tree)— headed directly to the Panorama Square Station near the Cherry Blossom Garden. A night bus line from Chufengyuan to the Panorama Square Station is also available. The cycling route allows visitors to choose between renting a XiaoLuyoyo (Little Deer Leisure Cycling) electric bike or Xiaohongling (Little Red Antelope) bike and embark on a cherry blossom journey at their own pace. The East Lake cruise route enables visitors to board at Chufengyuan Pier, Luoxia Shuixie (Sunset Waterside) Pier, and Xingyinge (Poetic Pavilion) Pier — which then shuttles directly to the Meiyuan (Plum Garden) Pier near the Cherry Blossom Park.
