汉阳门不在汉阳，它曾是武昌古城的一座城门，因面对汉阳而得名。如今，因在此可一览两江四岸精华地标，畅享清新爽冽的江风，这里除了吸引天南海北的游客，也吸引了一些民间乐队驻扎。赏美景、听乐曲，汉阳门成了游客一窥武汉人生活的窗口。
Hanyang Gate, once a city gate in the ancient Wu Chang City, is not located in Hanyang district, but was rather named for facing Hanyang. Offering a panoramic view of key landmarks along the banks of both rivers, with a cool and refreshing river breeze wafting by, Hanyang Gate is not only a magnet that draws tourists from all over the country, but also home to many folk music bands. As tourists enjoy the beautiful scenery and good music, Hanyang Gate is like a portal that offers a glimpse of life in Wuhan.

12月9日晚，来自广州的小梁和朋友漫步汉阳门观景台，一阵悠扬乐声传来，她们循声来到江边长廊，只见一个管乐团正在演奏。
On the evening of December 9th, as Xiao Liang and her friends visiting from Guangzhou strolled along the observation deck of Hanyang Gate, a melodious tune echoed by. They followed the sound which led them to the riverside promenade, where they saw an orchestra performing.

一曲终了，小梁问道：“我可以点首《歌唱祖国》吗？”乐队成员点点头，曲乐昂扬的旋律就响了起来。
After the song ended, Xiao Liang asked, “Can I request ‘Ode to the Motherland’?” The band members nodded, and the spirited melody began to play.
“我拿着手机录了整首曲子，开始是跟着唱，后来不知道怎么的，眼泪就不自觉地流出来了。”小梁说，汉阳门的经历，她一辈子也不会忘记。
“I recorded the whole song on my cell phone. Initially I sang along, but then out of nowhere tears began streaming down my face.” Xiao Liang said that her experience at Hanyang Gate would forever be etched in her mind.

乐团的成员介绍，武昌区汉阳门管乐团2018年成立，现有70多人，成员来自武汉三镇。几乎每天晚上都会在此练习、演奏。“这里游客多，我们演奏就要展示出武汉人的精气神！”乐团团长张先生说。
Members of the Hanyang Gate Orchestra in Wuchang District introduced that the orchestra, established in 2018, now has more than 70 members from the three towns of Wuhan. They rehearse and perform here almost every night. “There are many tourists here, so when we play, we have to showcase the spirit of the people of Wuhan!” said Mr. Zhang, the band leader.

同样选择把汉阳门当做“主场”的音乐爱好者，还有71岁的陈洪学夫妻。陈洪学7年前得了肺癌，手术后直到去年才能说话、走路。
Among the music enthusiasts who visit Hanyang Gate to savor the music are 71-year-old Chen Hongxue and his wife. Chen Hongxue had lung cancer 7 years ago, and following his surgery, it was only until last year that he was able to speak and walk.

今年3月，陈洪学和老伴来到汉阳门，除了刮风下雨，每天上午10点到12点他们都会准时出现，练习吹奏电萨克斯管。“爱音乐、爱生活、爱家乡，这就是我们选择汉阳门的原因。”陈洪学说。
In March of this year, Chen Hongxue and his wife frequented Hanyang Gate. Except for days with bad weather, they showed up every morning from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. to play the electric saxophone. “We love music, life, and our hometown, three reasons why we chose Hanyang Gate,” said Chen Hongxue.
