Wuhan Zoo is slated for reopening on Septermber 28, it announced on Septermber 25, 2023.
After renovation, the zoo,surrounded by the Moshui Lake on three sides,will sheltermore than 1,100 rare animals of 138 species in fiveexhibition areas which is built forwetland birds, Asian, African, Oceania and Americananimals. The zoo also rezones an area forchildrento get close to the animals andretains the Yingqu Garden.
After opening, tickets will beon saleonline and offline. Visitors are required to book tickets for September 29 and beyond through online channels, such as Meituan, Ctrip and the official website of Wuhan Zoo starting from September 26.Paperticketswill also be availableat the visitor service centers.
A reminder is that tickets for September 28 can only be purchasedon the site.Visitors are advised to take a staggered trip to the zooduring the upcoming holiday considering the daily cap of 50,000 people. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Yuan Pian and Ruan Xinqi)
