Wang Zhonglin, governor of Hubei Province, met with John Waldron, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer ofHoneywell International Inc and Suresh Venkatarayalu,Senior Vice President andChief Technology and Innovation Officer ofHoneywell International Inc on Wednesday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.
After expressing warm welcome toJohn Waldron,Suresh Venkatarayalu andtheir delegation,Wang said that Hubei enjoys geographical advantages, abundant scientific and educational resources, complete industrial system and beautiful ecological environment.
He added that Honeywell, as the firstFortune Global 500 company to invest in Hubeiafter theepidemic, has made positive contributions to accelerating the recovery of Hubei. It is hoped that Honeywell will further deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of sustainable development, security protection, intelligent manufacturing, medical treatment and health care. Hubei will create a market-oriented and law-based international business environment to provide quality services for Honeywell and other enterprises in Hubei.
John Waldron and Suresh Venkatarayalu expressed that Honeywell is willing to establish closer cooperative relations with Hubei in the areas of aerospace, control systems, green and low-carbon transformation and sustainable development, so as to accelerate the development of its business in Hubei and bolster local economic and social development.
