4月14日，武汉软件工程职业学院汽车工程学院，30岁的宋文洪给学生们讲授车辆发动机构造课程。而课堂下，他是一名有着8年汽修从业经验的高级技师。
On April 14th, the 30-year-old Song Wenhong, a senior technician with, 8 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, gave a lecture on vehicle engine construction to students from the School of Automotive Engineering at Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering (WHVCSE).
与神龙工程师一起被外聘
Becoming an External Lecturer
宋文洪是武汉市新洲区人，毕业于随州职业技术学院，主修专业是汽车检测与维修。目前他就职于武汉途虎养车光谷大道店，是该店高级技师，平时为到店车辆做保养维修。
Song is from Xinzhou District, Wuhan. He graduated from Suizhou Vocational and Technical College with a major in automotive testing and maintenance. As a senior technician of Tuhu Car Maintenance Shop (Optics Valley Ave. Branch), he provides maintenance and repair work for vehicles there.
武汉软件工程职业学院离途虎养车光谷大道店只有几分钟的车程。一次偶然的机会，宋文洪从维修车间走进了大学讲堂。
The college is merely a few minutes ride from the shop. However, one coincidental opportunity is what led to his becoming a lecturer at the school.
“今年2月，学校想给汽车制造专业班找外聘老师，要求专业对口，且实操经验丰富。在老板的推荐下，我去面试、试讲，最终应聘成功。”宋文洪告诉极目新闻记者，“我从未想过自己会当老师，而且还是大学老师。这次跟我一起被学校外聘的，还有一位来自神龙汽车的工程师。”
“This February, the college was recruiting for an external lecturer with relevant educational background and rich practical experience for its automotive manufacturing major. Recommended by my boss, I went for an interview and mock-class and got the job”, Song told Jimu News. “I never thought I would become a teacher, let alone a university lecturer. Recruited at the same time as me was an engineer from Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company Ltd.”
宋文洪讲授的课程是汽车发动机构造，上课时间为每周五下午1时30分至4时，包括一节理论课和一节实操课。
Songs automotive engine construction course is held every Friday from 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m., which includes one theory session and one practical session.
4月14日上午，记者来到途虎养车光谷大道店。宋文洪身穿工作服，熟练地拿起不同工具，检测、维修汽车，双手沾了不少油渍。
On the morning of April 14, the reporter arrived at the repair shop to find Song dressed in his work attire skillfully using different tools to test and repair cars. His hands were covered with oil stains.
作为汽修技师，宋文洪入行已经8年。他回想自己在学校学习汽修课程时，觉得老师理论知识很丰富，但美中不足的是，很难跟实际运作串联起来，导致学生缺乏动手能力。毕业后，他从汽修店学徒干起，吃了不少苦头，走了一些弯路，甚至还被烫伤过，渐渐地在工作中积累了大量实操经验，能够独当一面，成长为高级技师，精通40万元以内各类汽车的故障维修，深受车主认可。
He recalled that while learning about automobile repair in college, he felt that the while teachers had a great compass of theoretical knowledge, it was difficult to apply in practice. As a result, students lacked hands-on skills. After graduation, he started as an apprentice, during which he experienced difficulties and detours, and even got burnt. After accumulating due practical experience, he was able to repair cars independently, and advanced to the position of senior technician. He is proficient in troubleshooting vehicles valued within 400,000 yuan, and is highly regarded by his customers.
希望学生们少走一些弯路
Detering Students from Pitfalls
14日下午1时许，宋文洪脱下工作服，向同事交代好工作，便提着电脑包，开车来到武汉软件工程职业学院，准备给学生上课。
At about 1 p.m. on April 14, Song drove to the school with a computer bag after taking off his work attire and handing over shifts with his colleagues.
当天的课程内容是“冷却系统的构造与维修”，前一天晚上他已经备好课。课堂开始后，平时在汽修店不怎么说话的宋文洪，瞬间进入教师角色，自信而从容。讲解理论知识时，他结合自己工作中遇到的案例，不时还穿插着互动问答，同学们听得格外认真。一个小时的理论课结束，宋文洪又带领学生实际操作发动机拆装。
The lesson that day was about the construction and maintenance of cooling systems, which he had diligently prepared the previous night. As the class commenced, the once few-worded Song turned into a confident and composed teacher. He deftly incorporated his practical experiences into his theoretical explanations and frequently interacted with students. All in attendance listened attentively throughout the one-hour theory session. Later, Song further guided them as they practiced engine disassembling and assembling.
宋文洪告诉记者，刚开始上课时，他十分紧张。他发现，单纯讲理论知识，不仅十分枯燥，学生也不爱听。于是，在课程安排上，他更倾向于让学生了解汽车的基本结构和发生故障的原因，而不是只告诉他们如何处理。从偏理论到偏实用，后期又增加了互动提问，课堂上的气氛越来越好，他也越来越得心应手。
According to Song, he initially was nervous about teaching. He realized that merely delivering theoretical knowledge was tedious and boring for students. He, therefore, restructured the course curriculum to emphasize the fundamental structure of automobiles and the underlying causes of malfunctions instead of solely focusing on dealing with these problems. With the gradual inclusion of practical applications and interactive questions, the atmosphere improved dramatically, and Song became increasingly confident.
“宋老师的课生动有趣，给我们分享了很多真实的案例，让我们学到了书本之外的知识。”学生陈智凯说。书本上的理论知识不够通俗，宋老师的实操经验帮助他们学到很多有用的东西，大家上课时专注度也很高。
“Mr. Songs class is engaging and inspiring,” Chen Zhikai said, adding “he shares with us many real cases that cover information beyond the textbooks.” Chen observed that the theoretical knowledge from their textbooks is often obscure, and it is Mr. Songs wealth of practical experience that allows them to acquire useful insights. As such, everyone is attentive during each lesson.
从2月底至今，宋文洪已经授课一个多月。他说，他的梦想是开一家汽修店。这次当老师的经历对他来说非常宝贵，让他体会到责任重大，因为如果他讲的知识不准确，就会误人子弟。“我希望把自己的经验和本领毫无保留地传授给学生们，让他们学到真本领，在汽修的道路上少走些弯路。”宋文洪说。
Beginning the end of February, Song has been teaching for over a month. He said that his long-standing dream is to open an auto repair shop. Songs experience as a teacher has been incredibly meaningful, allowing him to recognize the weighty responsibilities that come with imparting knowledge accurately, as a minor mistake could steer his students in the wrong direction. “My goal is to provide my students with honest guidance and pass on my hard-earned skills”, Song said. “I hope that this will enable them to acquire practical expertise and minimize any unnecessary detours they may encounter in their career path.”
