世界上有不绝的风景，或沧桑或热烈或璀璨。一镇、一村、一街，就像历经不同故事和时空的美人，灵魂不期而遇，诉说相似的心事。
There are countless landscapes in the world, which are of vicissitudes. A town, a village, and a street are like beauties who have different experiences at different times and spaces, meeting unexpectedly while telling similar stories.
在湖北襄阳，老河口市、宜城市、枣阳市和襄阳市樊城区内，有四处地方有一个共同的名字——“太平”：太平街、太平村、太平镇以及太平店镇。
Four places in four different cities of Hubei share the same name of "Taiping", namely Taiping Street in Laohekou City, Taiping Village in Yicheng City, Taiping Town in Zaoyang City and Taipingdian Town in Fancheng District, Xiangyang City.
楚天都市报极目新闻记者走近这四位不同气质的“美人”，感受她们不同的风情。

青砖灰瓦低阁楼，尖檐微翘马头墙。踏上老河口太平街，仿佛走进了另一个时空。
Low loft with blue bricks and grey tiles, up-warping eaves on the Ma Tau wall. When walking on the Taiping Street in Laohekou, one feels like they are stepping into another time and space.
“当年，这里聚集着天生行、豫西盐行、李记商行等38家商行。”7月21日，老河口市博物馆馆长安卫东说，老河口水陆便利，素有“小汉口”美称。明、清时期，各会馆商行和钱庄遍布，逐步形成了36条街、72条巷，太平街就是其中一条主要的商业街道。
"In those years, there were 38 commercial firms including Tiansheng Firm, Henan Salt Firm, and Liji Firm." On July 21, An Weidong, the director of Laohekou Museum, said that Laohekou is known as "Little Hankou" for its convenient water and land transportation. During Ming and Qing dynasties, various firms and banks were dotted all over the area, gradually developing into the layout of 36 streets and 72 alleys, among which Taiping Street was one of the main commercial streets.
太平街始建于清道光二年（公元1822年），街宽6.6米、长196米，现存大多是明清建筑。
Taiping Street was built in the second year of Qing Dynasty's Emperor Daoguang (1822 AD). The street is 6.6 meters wide and 196 meters long. Most of the existing buildings are from Ming and Qing Dynasties.
推开昔日“天生行”的木门，七八十米长的通道连接几户人家。安卫东说，这栋房子建于清末民初，当年是售卖油料、山货的大商行。尽管太平街于2008年3月被湖北省人民政府公布为省级文物保护单位，但因历史遗留问题，仍居住着87户人家。下一步将统一改造这条老河口市保存最完好的历史街区。
Opening the wooden door of "Tiansheng Firm" from the past, a passageway of seventy to eighty meters long connects several households. An Weidong said that the house of the firm was built in the late Qing and the early Republic of China when it was a big business firm selling oil and mountain products. Although Taiping Street was announced as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by the Hubei Provincial People's Government in March 2008, there are still 87 families living there due to a few problems left over by history. Next, this best-preserved historic district in Laohekou City will be renovated uniformly.
靠江边的老树下，摇着蒲扇乘凉的老人王树真告诉极目新闻记者，他86岁，打小就在这里生活。他说，太平街名字是由街道东西两端修建的太平池得来，太平池由青石条砌就，主要用于消防。
Under the old tree by the river, the old man Wang Shuzhen who was shaking his palm fan to enjoy the cool breeze, told the JIMU News reporter that he was 86 years old and had lived here since he was a child. He said that Taiping Street was named after the Taiping Pond built at its east and west ends. The Taiping Pond was built with bluestone strips and was mainly used for fire protection.
酒香不怕巷子深。太平街背后的乐盛街被称为老河口的“黄酒小巷”。据介绍，乐盛街当年作为太平街上商户的生活区，有茶楼、酒肆、戏馆等娱乐场所。如今，这条街还有好几家上百年历史的老字号黄酒店。
Good wine needs no bush. Lesheng Street behind Taiping Street is known as the "Yellow Wine Alley" of Laohekou. It's introduced that there were teahouses, public houses, theaters and other entertainment venues in Lesheng Street as it was used as a living area for the merchants who sold goods on Taiping Street in the past. Today, there are several time-honored yellow wine stores with more than one hundred years of history in this street.
当地人说，每天下午三四点后酒馆热闹极了。一碗散酒两三元，就着花生瓜子，边喝酒边聊天，一直持续到夜里10点多。
Local people say that the pub is very lively after three or four o'clock every day. With a bowl of bulk wine only costing two or three yuan, and snacks like peanuts and melon seeds, people chat while drinking late until 10 o'clock at night.
有时代感又有烟火气，太平街就像一名历尽沧桑而不染风尘的女子，在历史长河中顾盼生辉。
With a long history and booming commerce, Taiping Street is like a woman who has experienced the vicissitudes of life while keep her original appearance, presenting gleam through history.

经襄宜快速路中段，一块印有“生态采摘园”字样的标牌颇为显眼，向里走，成片的果蔬大棚映入眼帘。
In the middle of Xiangyang-Yichang Expressway, a sign printed with "ecological picking garden" stands out quite conspicuously. Walking in, a large number of fruit and vegetable greenhouses come into sight.
“现在是淡季，到了秋冬季节，来园里采摘的人超多，小汽车能把这段路给堵了！”宜城市龙头办事处太平村支部书记王学雄告诉极目新闻记者，如今的太平村是宜城城郊重要的旅游、休闲景点。
"It is currently the off-season, but come autumn and winter, there will be so many people picking in the garden that their cars block the road!" Wang Xuexiong, secretary of Taiping village from Longtou office, Yicheng City, told the JIMU news reporter that Taiping village is now an important tourist and leisure attraction in the suburbs of Yicheng.
采摘园经营者、隆景生态农业科技有限公司负责人陈声锐介绍，“我们和绿芊公司在太平村建了两个采摘园，种植草莓、火龙果、圣女果等，旺季主打采摘、观光经济，淡季将蔬果卖到商超、水果店。”
Chen Shengrui, operator of the picking garden and principal of Longjing Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., LTD., introduced, "We built two picking gardens with Lvqian Company in Taiping Village, planting strawberries, dragon fruit and cherry tomatoes, etc. In peak season, we focus on picking the produce and tourism, and then selling fruits and vegetables to supermarkets and fruit shops in the off season."
年长村民称，太平村的由来有段传说。宋元襄樊之战中，一女子为躲战乱背着年幼的弟弟四处躲藏来到该村，迎面碰到鞑子兵（当地人将蒙古兵称为鞑子兵）。鞑子兵把刀架在小弟脖子上，姐姐为保护弟弟，怒对鞑子：“你们不能滥杀无辜，我弟弟年小无罪。要杀就杀我。”鞑子兵见女子以死护亲人，情有所动，放下了屠刀。
Senior villagers say there is a legend about the origin of Taiping Village that during the War of Xiangfan in the Song and Yuan dynasties, A woman carrying her young brother to hide from the chaos came to the village and met the Dazi soldiers (the mongol soldiers were known locally as the Dazi soldiers). The Dazi soldiers put a knife to her younger brother's neck. To protect her younger brother, the elder sister was angry with the soldiers, and said, "You can't kill innocent people. My brother is young and innocent. Kill me instead if you want." When the Dazi soldiers saw the woman was willing to give up her life in order to protect her relatives, they were moved and put down their knife.
当地村民见姐姐舍身救弟求得平安，为祈求太平，修建了一座太平庙，村子因处在岗上，取名“太平岗村”，后改名太平村。
When the local villagers saw that the elder sister was willing to sacrifice her life to save her younger brother, they were moved to build a Taiping Temple to pray for peace ('Taiping' written as‘太平’ refers to peace in Chinese). The village was named Taipinggang Village because the village was positioned on a hill ('Gang' written as ‘岗’ refers to hill in Chinese) . Later, it was renamed Taiping Village.
龙头办事处党委委员曾广梅介绍，今年，太平村还将利用临近江滩的优势，开发汉江江滩综合体文旅项目，开发乡游、乡食、乡娱、乡购、乡宿等综合体验项目，打造1-2条乡村休闲旅游精品循环线路，变美丽乡村为美丽经济。
Zeng Guangmei, member of the Party Committee of the Longtou office, introduced that in this year, Taiping village will also take advantages of the river beach, develop the Han River beach complex cultural travel project, rural travel, rural food, rural entertainment, rural shopping, rural accommodation and other comprehensive experience projects to create 1-2 rural leisure tourism high-quality circulation lines, so as to transform the beautiful countryside into one that brings about a beautiful economy.

7月21日，枣阳市太平镇太平广场，跳广场舞的、唱豫剧的、打快板的，三五成群好不热闹。

太平镇宣传委员黄道霞介绍，该镇66个行政村（社区）近11万人，80％的村成立了新时代文明实践文艺宣传小分队，其中有近50%的村从事曲剧、豫剧、坠子书、快板、旱船、唱流行歌曲等民间文化艺术活动，还有的顺应新时代以跳广场舞为主，成员们把才艺搬到红白喜事、庆典开业、生日祝寿等活动中。假日农闲时，男女老少齐上场，村村锣鼓响，处处舞步欢。
Huang Daoxia, member of Taiping town publicity committee introduced that in the town's 66 administrative villages (communities)---nearly 110,000 people, 80% of the villages have set up literary and cultural publicity teams for the new era of civilization practice, and nearly 50% of them are engaged in folk cultural and artistic activities such as opera derived from ballad singing, Henan Opera, Zhuizishu, allegro, land boat and singing pop songs. There are also some other villages that love to do square dancing to adapt to the new era. Members of the teams transfer their talents to events such as weddings or funerals, opening celebrations for a bussiness, birthday celebrations and other activities. On holidays or during the off-peak season for farmers, men, women and children will play together, with drums and gongs heard in every village and happy dance steps performed everywhere.
70岁的张道友是太平镇唐梓山老年艺术团团长。他说，太平曲剧团诞生于1937年，从河南请人教习,由各商贾捐款购置服装道具，延续至今。现在各村几乎都成立了自己的曲剧社团。
70-year-old Zhang Daoyou is the head of Tangzi Mountain Elderly Art Troupe in Taiping Town. He said that the Taiping Opera Troupe was founded in 1937. They were taught by masters from Henan province and bought costumes and props through donations from businessmen. Now almost every village has set up its own opera troupe.
唐梓山老年艺术团的成员都是当地农民，年龄最大的75岁。今年5月开始，枣阳“帝乡大舞台”惠民演出活动启动，该艺术团成为表演主力。
The members of Tangzishan Senior Art Troupe are all local farmers, the oldest being 75 years old. Beginning in May this year, the performance of "Dixiang Grand Stage" in Zaoyang kicked off, and the art troupe became the main performer.
太平镇南街村72岁村民丁同建上完小学后就务农，后来自学了中医知识。前几年，南街村实行街巷长制，种了一辈子地的丁同建被群众推举为法治巷巷长。
Ding Tongjian, a 72-year-old villager from Zhennanjie Village, started farming after finishing primary school, and later studied Chinese medicine. A few years ago, Nanjie Village implemented the management system of selecting leaders to head over the local streets and lanes. Ding Tongjian, who had been a farmer all his life, was elected by the masses as a "Xiangzhang", which literally translates to 'Street Leader'.
这一次，丁同建又被选为百姓宣讲员。在“帝乡大舞台”活动中，他用“四喜临门”总结归纳出自己的所见所闻和身边的巨大变化。地道的枣北口音、顺口溜式的宣讲文稿，让每一个听众听在耳里，记在心里。
This time, Ding Tongjian was elected as a public lecturer. In the "Dixiang Grand Stage" activity, he summed up the great changes that he saw and heard around him with "Four Joys". His authentic local accent and jingle-style manuscript made every member in the audience listen to him attentively and keep what he had said in mind.
去年，太平镇荣获2021-2023年度“湖北省民间文化艺术之乡”称号，更让当地从事演出的成员有了干劲。

襄阳人的饭桌上，据说有一道举足轻重的菜——太平豆腐。
On the dining table in Xiangyang, it is said that there is an important dish-Taiping Tofu.
太平豆腐的诞生地在襄阳市樊城区太平店镇。近日，极目新闻记者在太平店镇宋闸村八里泉豆腐制品公司看到，几十口大锅热气腾腾，泡豆、磨豆、滤浆、煮浆、点制、模包、成型等工序井然。工人们熟练地取出成品豆腐，切好装盒，将其装进厢式货车。
Taiping Tofu was born in Taipingdian Town, Fancheng district, Xiangyang City. Recently, a journalist of JIMU News saw at Baliquan Tofu Products Company, Songzha Village, Taipingdian Town dozens of large sized pots steaming, with every step orderly organized such as soaking beans, grinding beans, filtering pulp, boiling pulp, packaging, etc. Workers skillfully took out the finished tofu, boxed the cut tofu, and loaded it into vans.
从这里生产的豆腐在几小时内 “坐”上动车，发往武汉的超市和农贸市场。还有些产品在武汉中转，乘坐飞机和高铁，发往北上广等地。
The tofu produced here then 'takes” the bullet train and is sent to supermarkets and farmers markets in Wuhan within a few hours. Some products are also transferred in Wuhan, and sent to first-tier cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou by plane and high-speed rail.
太平店镇的豆腐因用清洌甘甜的泉水制作，口感非凡。每到周末，食客们开车从城区赶到镇里，尝一尝由泉水豆腐、白菜、芝麻酱慢慢熬制的特色美食，太平豆腐的美名更盛。
Tofu in Taiping Town is made with clear and sweet spring water, and it thus tastes extraordinary. Every weekend, diners drive from the city to the town, and try the special delicacy that is made from spring tofu, cabbage and sesame sauce all of which have been slowly boiled together. Taiping tofu has hence gradually gained its popularity.
该镇王台村豆制品加工合作社，已吸纳18家小型豆腐坊加入，建成豆制品产业园和生产、观光游客自制型豆制品一条街，新投入使用的豆腐加工厂每年将带来1500万元的产值。
Wangtai Village Bean Products Processing Cooperative in the Town, by absorbing 18 small tofu shops, has built a bean products industrial park and a culture street for sightseeing and allowing tourists to make their own tofu. 太平店镇位于鄂西北部，地处襄阳西郊，濒临汉水，与谷城县、老河口交界，是一个具有2000多年的历史古镇，原名青泥湾，又称半扎店。这里保存完好的百年老街、明清古道，为太平店镇建设增添了深厚的历史底蕴，江西会馆、王家当铺，无不映射出这片土地昔日商贾云集的繁华与喧嚣。
Located in the northwest of Hubei Province, Taipingdian Town, bordering the Hanjiang River, is in the western suburb of Xiangyang City. The town is at the junction of Gucheng County and Laohekou, which is an ancient town with a history of more than 2,000 years, formerly known as Qingniwan, also known as Banzhadian. The well-preserved century-old streets and ancient roads of Ming and Qing Dynasties here have added a profound historical basis to the construction of Taipingdian Town.
