The 2025 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China (COCPDC) commenced on Nov.25,in Wuhan, Hubei Province,bringing together over 500 guests frommore than50 countries and regions to explore development opportunities.
The opening ceremony witnessed the signing of nearly 50 projects in sectors such as sci-tech innovation, education, cultural tourism, and the development of hometowns for overseas Chinese.The total contracted amount reached 8.2 billion yuan.
This year, theconference will feature more than tenspecific sub events, including forums like theTian Changlin Forumandthe Optics ValleyForeignInvestmentExchange Conference,as well as specificsessions on culturaltourism and education.In addition, parallel sessions will be organizedin the cities of Huangshi, Ezhou, and Tianmen.
Over the past 25 years,COCPDC has gathered over 20,000 overseas Chinese and business representatives from more than 100 countries and regions.
