问：每逢暑假，荆州、襄阳、鄂州等地就成了家长带娃出游的好地方，毕竟“闻听三国事，每欲到荆州”。那你知道湖北怎么成为三国文化之乡的呢？
答：三国文化是荆楚文化最富特色、最有魅力的文化资源之一。
三国时期，刘备、曹操、孙权等政治家，诸葛亮、张飞、关羽、赵云等军事家，王粲、祢衡等风流名士，都在湖北留下功名与伟绩。湖北境内也发生了许多激烈的战争，如赤壁之战、夷陵之战等事关三国格局与走向的重大战役。
一部三国史，为湖北形成了影响久远、魅力独特的三国文化。《三国演义》共120回，其中70多回涉及湖北。三国历史给湖北留下了古隆中、西山、赤壁古战场、长坂坡、关陵与关庙等遗迹，留下了诸多与三国文化有关的地名、戏曲、传说故事等文化遗产。

Q: It is a good choice for parents to take children to Jingzhou, Xiangyang, Ezhou and other places on summer vacation. After all, “Once people would like to know the story of Three Kingdoms, Jingzhou would be the right place to visit.” How did Hubei become the hometown of Three Kingdoms culture?
A: Three Kingdoms stories are one of the most distinctive and charming resources in Jingchu culture.
Many eminent figures in the Three Kingdoms period achieved their greatness and success in Hubei, including politicians as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Quan, militarists as Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Zhao Yun and famous intellectuals as Wang Can, Mi Heng. In addition, numerous decisive battles happened in Hubei, such as the Battle of Red Cliffs and the Battle of Yiling.
The history of the Three Kingdoms has formed a culture with long-standing influence and unique charm for Hubei. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, more than 70 chapters of the 120 chapters involved Hubei. The history bestowed great relics in Hubei, such as Longzhong Scenic Area, Mountain Xi (in Ezhou, Hubei), Red Cliffs ancient battlefield, Changban Po, Guan Yu Mausoleum, and Guan Yu Temple, and cultural heritages like place names, operas, legends.
